Repurposing An Old Door

Hello Everyone!  I was lucky enough to find two old doors and I repurposed one of them into this.

003

With Charlie’s help, we made a little table and attached it using shelving brackets and liquid nails.  We also, added a shelf and crown molding to the top of the door.

Before we added the table, crown molding and the shelf to the door, I painted everything with Miss Mustard Seed (Linen) Milk Paint and used her wax on it as well.

As you can see, I have placed it in my booth for sale.  Now I need to decide what I’m going to do with the other door I have.

Hopefully, later in the week I’ll be back to share with you some more fall things I made for my booth!

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy this gorgeous weather we are having.

  10. I love how it turned out, Gail! This would be a great piece to use indoors or out. Can't wait to see what else you've been working on. I finally found two good pieces of furniture this past week {at reasonable prices} that I need to get painting. Now I just need to figure out colors or designs I want to do. Sometimes that decision takes me longer than it will to paint the piece! : )

  12. That is really nice, it should sell quickly. Did I tell you that I found an Antique/Vintage mall in my city at last? It's been here for ages, but very few people know about it.
I am thoroughly enjoying this fall weather, it has been 80 deg. F every day this week! Thank you Jesus!
